Yesterday afternoon, at the checkpoint "Maly Berezny", border guards found a vehicle that was in the international wanted list as stolen. When checking documents for a Mercedes with Czech registration, the car was found in the Interpol database. Our compatriot was returning to Ukraine in the recently purchased car.
Border guards reported that fact to representatives of the Ukrainian Interpol Bureau and the National Police. At the request of the border guards, the Ukrainian Interpol Bureau reported that the vehicle was listed as stolen in 2009 in Bulgaria. Thus, the car made in 2007 and related documents were handed over to officers of the National Police.
