A border guard of the Mukachevo detachment was diagnosed with a coronavirus infection

A border guard of the Mukachevo detachment fell ill with COVID-19. This information was announced today by the Border Guard Service’s spokeswoman Lesya Fedorova.
Suspilne Transcarpathia correspondents also learned from their own sources that in our region one servicemen and one civilian were diagnosed with coronavirus infection: a border guard of the Mukachevo detachment and his father. PCR tests confirmed their diagnoses.
In general, in the past 24 hours in Ukraine, 2 new cases of COVID-19 among the representatives of the State Border Guard Service have been reported: in Transcarpathian and Sumy regions. The units were disinfected, patients were sent to self-isolation under the supervision of doctors. As of today, in Ukraine, 4 servicemen have recovered, 16 are being treated.
