A Belarusian tourist got lost in the mountains of Rakhiv district

On March 12, at 16:01, the Rescue Service "101" was reported that a skier, who had come to the Ukrainian Carpathians from the city of Mogilev in Belarus, had gotten lost in the mountains of Rakhiv district. 

The rescuers were notified by employees of the hotel, where the man was staying. 

Yasinya mountain search and rescue department consisting of 5 people on a snowcat were sent to the area of Urda meadows for search operations. 

The rescuers found the lost man at 19:15 and took him to his place of stay. The 24-year-old tourist did not need medical assistance. 

According to him, he got lost while skiing due to heavy fog.
