A bas-relief of well-known doctor and wine-grower Bertalan Linner was opened in Beregovo (PHOTOS)

He writes that a lot of well-known figures were born in the city of Beregovo. Talented surgeon Bertalan Linner is one of those legendary personalities. There is a street in the city named in honor of this doctor, the hospital also bears his name, his monument is standing on the territory of the medical institution, a film about his life has been made.

Today, on his birthday, the bas-relief was solemnly unveiled on the facade of Bertalan Linner’s wine cellar, which represents him as a successful wine-grower and breeder. The initiators and organizers of the event is the "Zhayvoronok-Pachirta" LLC, the visitors of which can visit the ancient cellars belonging to the family of Linner. It is known that the famous city resident bred about 50 varieties of grapes and made original wine.
