A bag thief was detained within several hours

Yesterday, a 52-year-old saleswoman of a flower shop reported to Uzhgorod police that in the lane between Odeska and Chopin streets an unknown man had openly stolen her handbag, which contained a cell phone and a wallet with credit cards. A few hours later the police arrested a 27-year-old resident of Uzhgorod, who confessed to having committed a criminal offense. The guy is kept in temporary detention, the evidence has been seized.
