A 31-year-old resident of Mukachevo was arrested for putting up provocative posters on billboards

The woman is reasonably suspected of committing a criminal offense under part 2 of Article 161 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. 

In the course of investigation, it was established that during the period from the 19th to the 20th of October, unknown persons had put up posters with provocative content on billboards in several districts of Transcarpathia. 

During the pre-trial investigation, a number of activities were conducted, including searches, during which they found real evidence which prove the involvement of the 31-year-old woman in this crime. 

For deliberate actions aimed at incitement to national animosity and hatred, she faces punishment in the form of corrective labor for up to two years or deprivation of liberty for a term up to five years. 

 The investigation in the case continues. Law enforcement officers are conducting further investigation in order to establish all the circumstances of the crime and identify possible accomplices of the suspect. The choice of pre-trial restraint is being decided.
