Yesterday, September 28, in the evening, law enforcement officers received a report that a man had fallen off the train in the subway between stations Vydubychi and Slavutych.
The Kyiv police added that at one of the stations a man had climbed on the roof of the train, and when it started moving, the Uzhgorod resident fell down.
“The victim fell and died on the spot from numerous injuries. Immediately, between the metro stations Vydubychi and Slavutych, power was shutdown and the traffic was stopped. In addition, during the inspection of the scene, they found a backpack with personal belongings and documents of the deceased. He was a 29-year-old resident of Uzhgorod,” – the police said.
Proceedings over the incident were opened under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code, namely premeditated murder, with additional qualification – suicide.
Currently, law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances and cause of this incident. In addition, all versions of the man’s death will be checked.
