Another batch of contraband cigarettes was found last night by border guards at the "Tisa" crossing point. In the course of a joint inspection of a minibus Mercedes with Polish registration, border guards found a cache behind the decorative lining of the cabin. In constructive cavities of a suspended ceiling, a 19-year-old resident of Lviv tried to illegally transport 390 packs of tobacco products of various brands to European countries.
According to the current legislation, the cigarettes with excise stamps of Ukraine and the minibus made in 2001 were seized. The confiscated goods were estimated at more than 201 thousand hryvnia.
