A 16-year-old schoolboy riding a motorcycle hit a female pedestrian who was standing on the sidelines near her own house. The guy fled from the accident site, the woman with multiple injuries was taken to the hospital.
On July 13, in the village of Strahichovo in Mukachevo district, a guy on a motorcycle hit a female pedestrian.
Officers of the Mukachevo District Police quickly found the culprit in the road accident. It turned out to be a minor from the same village as the 54-year-old victim. The 16-year-old boy was riding a motorcycle "Spark" in the direction of Mukachevo, lost control, and ran over the woman.
As the detectives of the criminal police found out, the motorcycle was without the relevant documents, registration plate, and the driver himself did not have a driver’s license.
A criminal proceeding was opened over the accident under Part 1 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the rules of road safety).
The vehicle was taken to the impound lot of the Mukachevo District Police. The preliminary inquiry is ongoing.
