A 15-year-old boy was found hanged in Uzhgorod, the police say it was a suicide

The boy was from the village of Dovhe in Irshava district and was studying in Uzhgorod.

As reported by the Main Office of the Transcarpathian National Police, yesterday, December 4, about 19:08, they received a report about the discovery of a body on a lake in the city of Uzhgorod.

The investigating team arrived at the scene and identified the deceased person. He was a resident of the village of Dovhe, Irshava district, born in 2003.

The police reported that his parents, teachers of the school and his classmates had been interviewed, and no one noticed suicidal tendencies in the boy’s behaviour. The police noted that no signs of violent death was found on the body.

A criminal proceeding was opened under Article 115 of the Code of Civil Procedure, homicide with a mark "suicide".
