Recently, officers of the economic crime sector of Tyachiv District Police and traffic inspectors in the village of Bedevlya in Tyachiv district stopped a minibus "Mercedes" driven by a 40-year-old inhabitant of a village in Tyachiv district.
While checking documents, the police officers smelled a strong odour of alcohol, which was coming out of the interior of the car.
Upon arrival of the investigative team to the scene, it was found out that inside the "Mercedes" there were 20 road bags with plastic bottles of 5 liters capacity each. The sharp smell of alcohol was coming from those bottles. In total, the police seized 120 bottles, or 600 liters.
According to the Acting Chief of Tyachiv District Police, Vasyl Pokovba, criminal proceeding was opened over this fact, during which all circumstances of the crime will be established.
