On October 25th, at about 18.00, Volovets police received a report of an accident with victims at the 726th kilometer of the road Kyiv-Chop. The investigative team arrived at the scene.
Police officers found out that a 48-year-old woman driving a car "Hyundai" had lost control on the slippery road and driven into the oncoming lane. The woman collided with a car "Renault" with a family – a husband, a wife and two children aged 12 and 13 years.
As a result of the accident, all 6 people, who were in those cars, got injured. The driver of the car "Hyundai" was diagnosed with a leg fracture, she is in the surgical department of Volovets hospital. The rest of the victims were discharged after receiving first medical aid.
The police are conducting pre-trial investigation into this incident. The cars were taken to the impound lot. The examination showed that both drivers were sober.
