48 trash bins will be set up on Svoboda Avenue (PHOTOS)

Today, they began setting up trash bins on Svoboda Avenue. According to the acting mayor, Victor
Shchadey, in total, they plan to set up 150 bins in different parts of Uzhgorod. 

"Two years ago, young set up a bin on Svoboda Avenue – "The first trash bin on the Avenue," to draw 
the government’s attention to the problem and to call the Mayor’s Office to continue this initiative. 

Unfortunately, nobody listened to them then, trash bins were not arranged for (and the Trash bin 
number 1 turned into a flowerbed – editorial note). This year we were approached by businessmen 
with the offer to help in the improvement of the city. We suggested businesses to give Uzhgorod 
trash bins" – the acting mayor said. 

According to Victor Shchadey, trash bins will set up on all main streets. After Svoboda Avenue, they 
will take on Shvabska, Mynaiska, Lehotsky and other streets.
