On Wednesday, June 19, there was the briefing with the head of of State Architectural and Construction Control Inspectorate in Transcarpathian region Vasyl Koblyk.
The task of the Inspectorate is to provide control over the conduct of construction work.
Last year, the state introduced the simplified procedure regarding the commissioning of garden, cottage facilities of the II grade. In particular, it allowed to commission 342,500 m² of housing in the region in 2012. Also the following facilities were commissioned: 102 industrial facilities with total area of 109,229 m²; 13 preschools (8,342.56 m²); 21 educational institutions (32,755.54 m²); 642 social purpose facilities (183,810.18 m²); 123 transport infrastructure facilities (24,799.5 m²).
Quality control of construction works is the main task of the Inspectorate, so they pay particular attention to unauthorized construction where this criterion is difficult to control. The construction is deemed anauthorized if it is carried out in the area that was not reserved for this purpose, without a building permit, with a significant deviation from the design documentation.
Sometimes developers do not follow the procedures during the construction of temples:
– We started to stop such construction (several facilities in Uzhgorod). There is the agreement with bishops to meet and discuss this issue. Last year, we gathered all superiors to explain what documents and permits are required for certain works.
– The certification process is now the essential issue. Every facility must have a certificate, because it can not be used for ever. It is necessary to have the information as to where and what needs to be replaced, what components are expired, – Vasyl Koblyk said.
