In Chop, the UC and KMKS received the majority of seats in the council

15 out of 26 seats in Chop city council went to the “United Center” (8 members) and “KMKS-Party of Hungarians of Ukraine” (7 members). The pro-government “Solidarnist” won 5 seats, “Vidrodzhennya”, “Nash Krai” and “Opposition bloc” will have 2 seats each.

A representative of the “Solidarnist” Valeriy Samardak was elected as the mayor of Chop. The former Mayor Galina Tsar was elected to the city council from the “United Center”.

The RSA officials promise that all major roads in Transcarpathia will have been repaired by winter

Road workers of Transcarpathia are finishing repairs of the main roads in the region. Currently, the work continues on the road Mukachevo – Rakhiv – Bohoradchany – Ivano-Frankivsk – Rohatyn – Bibirka – Lviv in the city of Khust, on the Zaluzhzhya pass, in the village of Hreblya and on the bridge in the village of Bushtyno. The routine repairs at these sites are being carried out under
the budget program “Development of road infrastructure of the Ukrainian part of the Carpathian Euroregion”, – the Road Service of the region reported.

Transcarpathia is among the five regions with the lowest wages

Transcarpathia is among the five regions of the country with the lowest wages. According to the State Statistics Committee, the average salary in Transcarpathian region for 9 months of this year amounts to 3,178 UAH. Lower wages are recorded in Chernihiv (3,161), Ternopil (2,874), Zhytomyr (3,102) and Volyn (3,115) regions. The average salary in the country is 4,012 UAH.

A new playground was opened in Solomonovo

On Sunday, a new playground with artificial turf was opened in the village of Solomonovo in Uzhgorod district. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Regional Council Volodymyr Chubirko, deputy of the Regional Council Zoltán Kertész, Solomonovo village head Galina Malynych.

Most of the deputies of the new Regional Council will be from Uzhgorod

In the Regional Council of the VII convocation, there will be 10 deputies who are residents of Uzhgorod.

Three of them are representatives of the “Vidrodzhennya” – Andriy Andriyiv, Miron Pompel, Petro Ilnytsky, two are representatives of “Solidarnist” – Ivan Shkyrta, Mykhailo Boychuk, two are from the “Opposition bloc” – Victor Rusin, Oleksandr Antal, two – from “Batkivshchyna” – Ivan Kurakh, Yuri Pakanych, and one from the “United Center” – Vasyl Skryp.
