Drivers of trucks, that will be crossing the Ukrainian-Slovak border at the checkpoint “Uzhgorod – Vysne Nemecke”, will encounter certain restrictions due to the reconstruction of the customs station on the Slovak side, Slovak media reported.

The restrictions will be in force until the end of August. These restrictions do not apply to trucks that go to Slovakia without cargo. Drivers can find information on the current state of waiting at the Infoservice on the site of the Financial Service of the Slovak Republic.

Recall that in April this year, the Slovak side began the reconstruction of the crossing point for the EU funds. The total cost of works is 1.73 million euro. Slovaks plan to complete the reconstruction in the autumn.

On Thursday, in Transcarpathian region, there will be sunny weather. In Uzhgorod, Beregovo, Vynogradiv, Rakhiv, Mukachevo, Khust, Svalyava, Mizhhirya dry weather is expected. The temperature at night will be +10 … +15 degrees, during the day – from +18 to +27. North and north-east wind, 1-4 m / s. In the second half of the week, cloudy weather with clearings, no precipitations is expected.

Today, the Chairman of the regional council Volodymyr Chubirko and the head of the Regional State Administration Vasyl Hubal had a meeting with the chairman of the General Assembly of the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok region (Hungary) Sandor Kovacs, who is on a visit to our region.

Volodymyr Chubirko thanked the Hungarian party for the support provided to our country. Thus, Transcarpathia soldiers injured in the ATO are being treated in Budapest. Soon, 40 children of soldiers will go to Hungary on holiday. He also noted that Transcarpathia had already established good relations and signed cooperation agreements with the three regions of Hungary. And now, they want to partner with the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok region.

Vasyl Hubal confirmed that the regional authorities are ready for cooperation and the leadership is grateful for the support of our region. “Our country is going through transformation, decentralization starts. So we are interested in the experience of reforms in Hungary. Also, we are interested in investments and job creation. Therefore, we must give business the opportunity to actively cooperate”, – the head of the RSA said.

Sandor Kovacs said that had been to Transcarpathia before, and that he liked our land very much. He supports the initiative of the the Regional Council Chairman on signing the partnership agreement. “Our contacts must result in real actions. We are going the right way. We are ready to help each other. And our experience on European way will be available to you. Overall, 5 states cooperate in protecting the Tisa River Basin. Transcarpathia can receive assistance under this project. We suggest ​​Transcarpathia to implement joint international projects, and your region will take part in European grants”, – the Chairman of the General Meeting of the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok region stated.

The parties agreed to establish a joint working group that will be developing the draft of the cooperation agreement. The next meeting will take palce with the participation of a wide range of businessmen from the two regions that will have an opportunity to establish cooperation.

Recently, in the city of Kyiv, there was the meeting of the jury of the children’s creativity contest “The future of the country is in children’s dreams” that was conducted for the thirteenth consecutive year by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.

Among the nearly 10 thousand children’s works submitted to the contest by participants from all over Ukraine, the work of a Transcarpathian Yevhen Ulihanets “Lake of Prosperity” ranked second in the older age group in the category of “Computer Graphics (computer animation)/”

According to the jury, which includes writers and artists, as well as specialists of the SFS, every year, it is more difficult to evaluate the works and determine the winners among the young participants. Because each work is unique, high-quality, beautiful, and their depth increases.

It should be noted that the competition is gaining increasing popularity among creative youth of Transcarpathia: this year, 55 works were submitted for the second (regional) phase of the competition “The future of the country is in children’s dreams”.
