Medical institutions of Transcarpathia will be helping soldiers of the ATO

At the next session of the Regional Council, the deputies plan to authorize the Transcarpathian regional blood transfusion station to give components and preparations of blood for free to healthcare institutions of other regions, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine to provide care for the wounded in the ATO.

The relevant draft decision was posted on the site of the Regional Council. At the meeting of the Regional Council committee on health care this draft decision was unanimously supported.

On Wednesday, March 4, at the press center of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration (second floor), there will be a briefing of the Director of the Education Department of the RSA Mykhailo Motylchak.

The theme of the event: “On changes in education in 2015”.

During the briefing, the officila will elaborate on specifics of financing of the educational sector in the current year, on the completion of the school year and the features of indepentdent testing in 2015.

On March 6th, the Ukrainian Railways arranged an additional train from Kyiv to Uzhgorod

Due to the increase in passenger traffic in the west direction on the eve of Women’s Day March 8 and to meet the needs of the population in railroad traffic, the UZ arranged for an additional train number 207/253 Kyiv – Uzhgorod.

The train departs from Kyiv on March 6 at 17:30, and in the opposite direction – on March 9 at 22:14. The train makes stops in Kozyatyn, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky, Pidvolochysk, Ternopil, Lviv, Stry, Slavske, Svalyava, Mukachevo and other cities.

The train will consist of 18 cars, including reserved seats, coupe and luxury cars.

In addition to the additional train, currently three pairs of trains are runnung between Kyiv and Uzhgorod: № 99, № 81 and № 13.

NBU wants to extend the mandatory sale of 75% of foreign exchange earnings – source

The National Bank of Ukraine intends to extend the rule on mandatory sale of foreign exchange earnings by exporters, which now is set at 75% to March 3 inclusive.

This was told the “UNIAN” by sources in the financial market.

According to a top manager of one of the largest banks, the rule of compulsory sale of foreign currency earnings by exporters will definitely be continued because there is no reason for its termination, given the lack of foreign currency in the market.

A representative of another large bank also believes that the rule of compulsory sale of foreign currency earnings will remain.

“Today, at 10:00, there will be the meeting, where the decision will be made. The rule will be extended, there is no information on change of the earnings share to be sold. There is also evidence that they want to fix this rule in the law to make it applicable on a regular basis and not as a temporary measure of the NBU”, – another source said.

The National Bank fo far neither confirmed nor denied the information about extension of compulsory sale of foreign exchange earnings by exporters.

“The relevant resolution is still under development. Once it is signed, we will make it public”, – the press service of the regulator said.

Recall that by the Resolution №591 of September 22, 2014, the NBU set the rule for compulsory sale of foreign exchange earnings in foreign economic activity at 75% and limited terms of payments for foreign economic contracts to 90 days.

Subsequently, the regulator extended the rules by 3 months to March 2.

Velyky Berezny district is grieving again. The family, friends and comrades, all townspeople are weeping. Yesterday, it was raining all day – even the sky was crying.

Yesterday, March 2, there was the funeral of the fallen soldier of the 128th Mountain Infantry Brigade – Ruslan Sabov – the Berezny online writes.

His life ended on February 17, 2015, very early, at the 38th year of life, far from home, in Debaltseve. Ruslan was survived by his wife and two daughters.

Ruslan Sabov went to protect the eastern borders of the motherland back in August 2014. He did not hesitate for a second. He left the family at home and went to defend the interests of Ukraine. The last months of Ruslan’s life was a struggle for the integrity and independence of our country, the protection of the state borders.

Family members, friends, classmates, colleagues and friends, volunteers neighbors, residents of the district center came to pay tribute to the hero, to support the family of the fallen soldier, to share their pain of irreparable loss, to express sincere condolences.

After the requiem, the funeral procession headed to the cemetery. People were carrying wreaths and flowers, respectfully bowing their heads…

The memory of Ruslan Sabov, his courage and great human qualities will forever remain in the hearts of relatives and fellow soldiers – all those who knew, respected and loved Ruslan – a true patriot and hero!

The Parliament increased the monthly assistance to low-income families

The Parliament passed the law №2263 “On amendments to Article 5 of the Law “On state social assistance to low-income families” (on child welfare)”.

The corresponding decision was supported by 260 deputies.

By the legislative act, as of April 1, 2015, the amount of state social assistance to low-income families for each child under 13 and from 13 to 18 years shall be increased to 250 UAH and 500 UAH respectively.

In Uzhgorod, only one thousand unemployed found jobs during a year

Last year, Uzhgorod city employment center registered 2925 unemployed. As in previous years, the majority of them are women – 60%.

At the end of the year, there were 894 registered unemployed. 2546 people were employed on vacant and new jobs, of whom 1132 people were unemployed, including 234 people with additional guarantees in assisting in employment.

During 2014, 2989 vacant jobs were registered in the regional center. Thus, individual businessmen in the city created 1340 new jobs.

To provide temporary employment of unemployed people, financial support to unemployed people, 20 agreements with employers were signed for public and temporary works financed proportionally in equal parts from the local budget and the Fund of compulsory state social insurance of Ukraine against unemployment.

338 people were engaged in public works on landscaping in Uzhgorod.

At the railway crossing, a driver lost control

At the protected crossing of the stretch “Vynogradiv-Korolevo”, the driver of a car “VAZ-21099”, born in 1976, a resident of Vynogradiv, lost control of the car and slid into a ditch.

The driver damaged 5 metal columns. The man was delivered by an ambulance to the District Hospital in Vynogradiv and diagnosed with concussion and sore slaughter. No train was delayed. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

A Mukachevo resident’s bike was stolen at the station

A 42-year-old resident of Mukachevo found out that her bike, that she had chained to a fence of Mukachevo train station using a padlock, was gone.

This criminal proceeding was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. All the circumstances of the incident are being established – the public relations department of the MIA of Ukraine Office at Lviv railway reported
