Transcarpathia can offer affected region rehabilitation of children in families

29.01.2015

As informed by the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration Vasyl Hubal, the region submitted to the Ministry of Social Policy the suggestions to take children from the regions affected by the war for rehabilitation.

Then, the head of the region at his press conference suggested to discuss the following proposition: to consider the possibility of Transcarpathian families (of course, those who will be willing and ready for this) taking children for some time for accommodation and rehabilitation.

“I know that there are such initiatives in the region. Currently, we are studying the situation and suggestions from people. On this occasion, there will be some decisions, we may even adopt the program at the regional council session. Overall, I believe that Transcarpathians are hospitable people, who sympathize with others, and all those children – they are our Ukrainian children”, – Vasyl Hubal said. Also, the head of the region said that this issue needs to be studied by social services – on the actual mechanism of invitation of children to rehabilitation in the families.
