Last night, a 67-year-old pensioner, a resident of Pushkin Street, filed a complaint of theft with Vynogradiv police. The man reported that during the day an unknown person, through free access, had entered into his house and stolen from the room a black wallet. The wallet contained 550 USD and 2227 UAH. The police are looking for the thief.
Yesterday, around 23:15 near the village of Hlyboke, on the Kyiv-Chop highway, an accident happened. A 48-year-old entrepreneur from Ivano-Frankivsk, driving a car “Peugeot Expert” towards Uzhgorod, hit a 53-year-old unemployed man, who was jay-walking. The man died at the scene of the accident. The police did not detain the driver. His car was delivered to the impound lot.
Uzhgorod municipal police is the structure invented by former Mayor of Uzhgorod Serhiy Ratushnyak during his term. And the current mayor “inherited” the municipal police. Recently it became known that entrepreneurs complain about the abuse committed by officers of this service.
The management of Rakhiv Forestry complained to the police about their colleague. They claim that a forest ranger of Luzhanka state enterprise “Velyky Bychkiv Forestry and Hunting Husbandry”, a 31-year-old resident of the village of Velyky, abusing his official position and neglecting the requirements of the job description, allowed the theft of state property in especially large amounts. The forester has caused the company losses in the amount of 678,000 UAH, including losses from illegal logging amounting to 223,000 UAH.
On August 1, from 11.00 to 12.00 in Mukachevo, and on August 2, from 14.00 to 15.00 in Tyachiv, the acting head of the Traffic Police Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region Yuri Veykay will be personally receiving citizens.
Residents of the region may use the right for the rebate until December 31.
