Yesterday, the policemen of the regional center were called to a commercial bank exchange office on Sobranetska street where a specialist in operational cash work had detected a counterfeit 100 dollars banknote. It was brought by a 2nd year student of the dental faculty of UzhNU. The 100 dollars bill was made out of a 10 dollars one by adding a zero.

The young man told the police officers that he had found the bill on the sidewalk on Drugetiv street. The student was not detained.

Yesterday, a 32-year-old clerk of a Khust branch of a commercial bank appealed to the police. She said that during the day an unknown man under the pretext of exchanging a 100 dollars bill, had cheated the applicant out of 3,050 dollars.

The description of the suspect: 180-185 cm tall, stout build, short curly black hair with a receding hairline on the forehead, wide nose. He was dressed in a white shirt with a collar, black trousers.

Yesterday, around 23:00, a 33-year-old resident of the village Pyiterfolvo in Vynogradiv district found her 34-year-old husband hung in the garden. The family called doctors, but they only pronounced him dead.

The police are establishing the cause of the suicide.

Yesterday, a 20-year-old lawyer reported to Mukachevo police that around 19.30 on Ivan Franko street, two unidentified women of Roma nationality aged 25-30 years, under the pretext of breaking a hex spell, had cheated her out of gold items: chains, rings, crosses, pendants and a gold watch.

The amount of material damage is about 100,000 UAH.
