What the Prime Minister of Hungary did during the private visit to Transcarpathia (PHOTOS)

The high-level official came to Transcarpathia with unofficial one-day visit. The main purpose is to visit the Transcarpathian Hungarian Institute named after Ferenc Rákóczi II in Beregovo and to sign the agreement on the support of the institute. At the beginning of March, the government of the neighboring country allocated 500 million forints (just over two million dollars) to support the Institute in 2013. Over the next three years, the institute will receive more than one billion forints.

The Chief Accountant of Uzhgorod foundation was sentenced to 5 years in prison

By the Uzhgorod city and district court verdict, the chief accountant of the foundation was convicted of committing crimes under Part 4 of Art. 191, Part 1 of Art. 200, Part 1 of Art. 364-1 and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment with deprivation of the right to occupy positions related to accounting for 2 years with confiscation of assets derived from crime and probation period for 2 years.

Over two days in Transcarpathia four cars were burning (PHOTOS)

The first report came to Khust district rescue service on April 24 at 3:45. The fire originated in a garage in the village of Horinchevo, on Zhukov street. The fire was reported by neighbors who had seen smoke coming out of the garage. The rescuers immediately left for the place of call.
