In Tyachiv district a drunk woman drowned in the pool
Drinking of alcohol ended up fatally for a 60-year-old resident of the village of Solotvyno in Tyachiv district. The pensioner, being drunk, came at night in the yard of her home, where she stumbled and fell into her own pool of water. There was noone to rescue the woman, so she was suffocated in water …
Police arrested officials of “Central-Start” credit union
In order to identify the victims of acts of officials of the “Central-Start” credit union, in May 2012, the media published an ad with contact numbers of the investigative team of the Administration of MIA of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region. 309 persons who are investors of the said credit union approached the law enforcement officers.

Ukraine is reaping the fruits the of so-called “language law” by which Russian received the status of regional in eight regions of the country and eleven cities. Later members of Beregovo District Council in Transcarpathia gave regional status to Hungarian language. Recently, a similar decision on Romanian language was adopted by the village council of Bila Tserkva (Rakhiv district of Transcarpathian region).
