15 boxes of cigarettes were seized in a freight train in Transcarpathia

Transcarpathian customs officers found contraband cigarettes in a train carrying logs from Ukraine to Hungary.

The attempt of illegal export of tobacco products was prevented at the checkpoint "Salovka" of the customs post "Batyeve."  The total amount of cigarettes is 7500 packs. The illegal movement of excise goods was revealed during a joint customs and border control of the train.

The customs officers sent to the Main Office of the SFS in Transcarpathian Region the report of the wrongful act that contains elements of a crime under Art. 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Currently, the cigarettes were seized and the train went on its way.
