In response to the Transcarpathian Regional Council’s appeal requesting to withdraw the 128th brigade from the front, the military unit released the following statement.
The soldiers of the legendary 128th separate mountain infantry brigade say the following:
"Statement for the public of Transcarpathia from the personnel of the 128th brigade.
The personnel of the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade and the commander of the brigade personally are sincerely grateful for the constant support and assistance and understand the concerns of activists, volunteers, citizens, servicemen’s family members and the deputies of the Transcarpathian Regional Council.
The active part of the public, who follow the life of the brigade, know that the brigade already underwent rehabilitation during January-May this year. At the moment, we continue defending our native land and this is our job. Since the very beginning of Russia’s armed aggression, the brigade has been performing duties in the most difficult areas of the front. We have never hidden behind others, we have always been and will be on the front. It is here, at the front, that we are an example for others, an example of heroism, courage, patriotism.
Our place is here for all of you, for the Transcarpathians, for our Ukraine. Please, wait for us with victory.
Respectfully yours, the personnel and the commander of 128th brigade lieutenant colonel SOBKO S.S.".
The statement was posted on the Facebook page of the brigade "Transcarpathian Legion".
Recall that the reason for this statement was the decision of the Transcarpathian Regional Council, which we informed about earlier.
Also, the soldiers invite to watch their video from the project "I am here":
