12 paintings on the history of the Palanok “settled” in the castle (PHOTOS)

A unique exhibition hall was opened in Mukachevo castle "Palanok" today, the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional Council reported. It features copies of paintings related to the history of the castle and its historical figures – Ilona Zrinya, Ferenc Rákóczi II. The copies, made with the support of the Consulate General of Hungary in Uzhgorod, are identical to the pictures that are stored in the culturally richest museums in Hungary. In total, the exhibition includes 12 paintings.

         The Regional Council Chairman Ivan Baloha, the Deputy Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Tibor Mishovits, Member of the Hungarian Parliament Balazs Hudvehi, Mukachevo Mayor Zoltan Lendyel, a deputy of the regional council Vasyl Brenzovych attended the opening ceremony.
