108 poppy plants was confiscated from an 80-year-old pensioner in Tyachiv district

Yesterday, officers of Tyachiv police department, during the operation "Poppy-2013", found out that an 80-year-old female pensioner, a resident of the village of Uhlya, from spring till now had been illegally cultivating poppy plants in the amount of 108 plants on her own land plot next to the house. The poppy was confiscated in the presence of witnesses. The pensioner was not detained.
