According to her, three fires occurred in residential buildings. In the morning of November 2, a house burned down in the village of Dorobratovo, Irshava district. Rescuers found the body of an 81-year-old owner in the room. There were also fires in residential buildings in Uzhgorod and Rakhiv districts. There, the fire damaged a ceiling on the area of 8 square meters, walls and household items.
In Uzhgorod, a fire broke out in an unused building. "A person’s body was found in the fire (the person is being identified). The fire destroyed garbage on an area of 20 square meters," – the spokeswoman said.
At about 2 p.m., rescuers received a report of a burning garbage in an open area in Uzhgorod. "The fire destroyed garbage on an area of 5 square meters. One unit of equipment of the 14th state fire and rescue unit of Uzhgorod was employed in fire extinguishing operation," – Batyr said.
An outbuilding was on fire in Mukachevo district. There, the fire destroyed the ceiling and roof on an area of 24 square meters.
The causes of the fires and the amount of damage are currently being determined.
