Buy photos – help children with cancer

"Melt your heart – let’s help children together" – this is the title of the annual charity event held in Irshava for children with cancer.

This year, it is the 10th event, and it was founded by local choreographer Yuri Buryas. Every year, for two weeks, everyone joins the action: enterprises, officials, schools, religious communities. The funds are then transferred to families with children with cancer.

According to the district oncologist, 13 children with neoplasms are currently registered, the youngest is 5 years old, the oldest is 18 years old. In 2014, cancer took the life of a 9-year-old boy, in July 2017, a 5-year-old girl died, and in 2018, we lost an 8-year-old boy with brain cancer.

Once again, a native of Irshava, now an Uzhgorod resident, photographer Volodymyr Khyla is joining the action. On November 28, he invites everyone to his photo exhibition-sale, which will open at 13.00 in the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library in Uzhgorod. He will transfer the proceeds to the organizers of the event in Irshava.

The results of the event "Melt your heart – let’s help children together" will be announced on December 6 at a charity concert in support of children with cancer, which will begin at 17.00 in the hall of the Irshava district House of Culture.
