Modern computer classrooms have been set up in two Transcarpathian schools. Equipment worth more than half a million hryvnias has been installed here. Those are the Nyzhnya Apsha comprehensive school and the Solotvyno boarding lyceum with the Romanian language of instruction named after M. EminescuThe lyceum will soon have a virtual reality class. Recently, teachers of these educational institutions received training in programming.

This is an important event, because those are the two Transcarpathian schools that are the first in Ukraine to implement innovations based on information and communication technologies.

Here are the details.

In total, the two schools received 18 computers, interactive whiteboards, projectors, multifunctional devices – everything that is needed for quality modern education. Interactive virtual reality glasses (VR-glasses) are still being expected.

The equipment was purchased within the framework of the cross-border project "Virtual Reality Unites the Carpathians: Interactive School Laboratories".

The main partner of the project is RDA "Zakarpattya". This agency also conducted training for teachers: from October 21 to November 13, there were four three-day trainings on modern programming language in the SCRATCH environment for teachers of computer science in Tyachiv district within the cross-border project "Virtual Lab".

Project 2soft/1.1/137 "Virtual Reality Unites the Carpathians: Interactive School Laboratories" is implemented within the Joint Operational Program Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020 with the financial support of the European Union. The total budget is 332,580.5 euros (9772721.7 hryvnias), of which the EU contribution is 299,286.85 euros (8794403.4 hryvnias), where the budget for Ukraine is 166,936.5 euros.
