According to her, the police received a report of the accident at about 6 p.m. "Police found out that a 42-year-old driver of the car, a resident of the village of Trosnyk, hit a cyclist moving in the opposite direction. The 55-year-old victim, a resident of the district, died of his injuries at the scene. The driver was tested, he was sober," – the spokeswoman said.
The vehicles were taken to the impound lot. A number of examinations will be conducted to establish all the circumstances of the accident. A pre-trial investigation is underway.
