According to her, the rescue service received a report of the fire at about 10 p.m. "Two units of equipment from the 14th state fire and rescue unit of Uzhgorod and the 16th state fire and rescue unit of the village of Serednye were engaged in fire extinguishing. The body of a man was found at the scene of the fire," – the spokeswoman said.
The fire destroyed the roof of the residential building and the ceiling on area of 75 sq. m., as well as a 25-square-meter wooden outbuilding and household items. Causes and losses are being established.
