During the past day, November 8, 441 people sought emergency medical care, 49 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 71 were suspected of having COVID-19.
852 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.
260 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 16 of them are medical workers, and 13 are children.
For the past 24hrs, 9 deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 has been reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 428 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died.
7756 patients have recovered.
Overall, as of 9:00 am on November 9, 2020, 16268 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 1530 are health care workers and 911 are children.

As of the morning of November 9, 3385 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine".
