COVID-19: the situation as of October 31 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

As of the morning of October 31, 2906 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

63 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

1639 people have recovered  

42 persons have died.
  
70 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 1155 are on outpatient treatment.

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have collected 414 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction test. 

In Transcarpathia, during the past day, 312 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 14 are health care workers and 14 are children.

For the past 24hrs, 4 deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 373 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died. 

6644 patients have recovered.

1304 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.  

Overall, as of 9:00 am on October 31, 2020, 14470 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 1337 are health care workers and 800 are children.

In Ukraine, 8752 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the past 24 hours

As of October 31, 8752 new cases of infection have been registered in Ukraine. 155 people with confirmed diagnosis have died, 3902 people have recovered. 

This is evidenced by the latest data published on the website of the Coronavirus Epidemic Monitoring System of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).

In total, during the entire period of the epidemic in Ukraine, according to the National Security and Defense Council, 387481 cases of COVID-19 infection have been confirmed. 

Most new cases were found in Kyiv city (781), Donetsk (749), Kharkiv (622), Lviv (514), Odesa (507), Khmelnytsky (497), Dnipropetrovsk (416) and Ivano-Frankivsk (411) regions.
