COVID-19: the situation as of the morning of October 26 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

The situation regarding COVID-19 in Transcarpathia as 9.00 October 26:

5980 Transcarpathians have recovered

During the past day, October 25, 172 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19.

520 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

For the past 24hrs, 3 deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 353 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died. 

Overall, as of 9:00 am on October 261, 2020, 13144 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 1241 are health care workers and 740 are children.

As of the morning of October 26, 2588 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

35 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod. One person died.

1528 people have recovered  

36 persons have died.
  
58 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 966 are on outpatient treatment.

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on October 26, there have been 348924 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 6464 were fatal, 142537 patients have recovered. During the day, 5426 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

 Mykolaiv region – 7,069 cases; 

 Odesa region – 22,179 cases; 

 Poltava region – 8,056 cases;

 Ternopil region – 19,261 cases; 

 Kharkiv region – 33,250 cases;
