Warning! The weather in Transcarpathia will deteriorate: wet snow in the mountains

Warning! We are expecting a significant deterioration of weather conditions from 13 to 15 of October. In the afternoon of October 13, we expect heavy rains from the southwest, which will turn into snow and rain in most part of the mountains during the night of October 14. In addition, we expect a significant wind of 15-23 m / s, in the highlands up to 30-35 m / s. In the mountains there is a risk of slush buildup and the formation of complex deposits. Precipitation will continue throughout the day on October 14 and will stop in the afternoon on October 15. On the rivers during October 14-16, water levels will rise. Such weather conditions carry significant risks for people in the mountains, utilities and energy. Take care of yourself, and if you are going to the mountains, then consider all the risks associated with the weather.
