The magic number did not work: on Friday, Transcarpathian customs officers found two boxes of cigarettes hidden under a layer of ore in the "13th" train car
Today, October 9, at 5 o’clock in the morning, a train with sintered ore arrived at the checkpoint "Pavlove-Matjovce" on the Ukrainian-Slovak border. The goods in 45 cars were being tranported to the Slovak station Hanyska.
During the inspection of the cars, inspectors of the Transcarpathian Customs of the State Customs Service together with border guards, "armed" with a 3-meter-long metal probes and shovels, found in the 13th car under a meter layer of sintered ore two boxes hidden from customs control, wrapped in black plastic bags. In this way violators wanted to transport 100 cartons of cigarettes "Jin Ling" without excise stamp.
A report on violation of customs rules is currently being drawn up. The hidden tobacco products were seized.
