The annual competitions among children for the best kite are organized by the Ukrainian Kite Association with the involvement of an international professional jury. Kristian is a talented student of the 8th grade of Kontsovo Secondary School, a member of the Transcarpathian Regional Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Student Youth, a pupil of an experienced teacher Vasyl Yakymovych. Along with the diploma of the first degree, the boy received from the Association a prize of UAH 1,000 for the implementation of his own kite project.
This year, another talented Transcarpathian, Oleh Olefir (17 years old) from the village of Kobyletska Polyana in Rakhiv district became the winner of "Star Kite". He received from the Competition Organizer the diploma "For a successful debut in the field of kites".
Recall that in the summer the Ukrainian Kite Association organized the first regional sports kite flying championship 2020 in Transcarpathia.
