Known in Mukachevo high-ranking criminal Yevhen Drebitko was sentenced to 4 years in prison (PHOTOS)

Meanwhile, other members of the criminal group were sentenced to 3 years in prison each. 
Today, on September 24, a judge of the Mukachevo City and District Court announced the verdict and found 4 members of a criminal group from Mukachevo guilty of extortion. 
So, according to the court decision, the leader of the gang (Yevhen Drebitko, – Ed.) was sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment. His other accomplices were sentenced to 3 years in prison. 
According to the prosecutor’s office, all of them were accused of committing a criminal offense under Part 2 of Art. 189 of the Criminal Code, namely extortion committed by a group of persons with prior conspiracy. 
They demanded from a Transcarpathian 15 thousand dollars for non-existent debts. In case of refusal, they threatened with physical violence and murder. 
All four defendants will be kept in custody until the sentence comes into force.
