Two Transcarpathians have been indicted of illegal deforestation

With the approval of the Mukachevo local prosecutor’s office, two Transcarpathians were indicted of committing a criminal offense under Part 2 of Art. 246 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. 
It is an illegal deforestation committed by a group of people with prior conspiracy. 
During the pre-trial investigation, it was established that at the end of July the men had illegally felled beech trees on the territory of the Chynadiyevo forestry of the State Enterprise "Mukachevo Forestry". Thus, the company suffered losses in the amount of about UAH 55 thousand. 
The pre-judicial investigation in the criminal proceedings continues to find out the circumstances of incident. Procedural control is provided by local prosecutors.
