An illegal immigrant was detained in Transcarpathia

Yesterday, border guards from the Chop detachment detained a foreigner who was trying to enter Slovakia illegally. 
The unknown person was noticed by the border patrol near the settlement of Huta in Uzhgorod district.  
The Asian man tried to escape from the border guards and hide in the woods, but he was found and detained with the help of a border guard dog. 
The offender said he was a citizen of Bangladesh. He did not have any documents with him. As law enforcement officers later found out, the foreigner 
reached Transcarpathia on his own, having previously planned a route together with his brother. The illegal immigrant was on his way to the town of Michalovce in Slovakia using maps downloaded to a mobile device from the Internet. 
The detainee was taken to the border guard unit for identification and establishing circumstances of the offense. The decision in his case will be made by the court.
