Historical wedding in the castle: reenactment of the wedding of Ilona Zrinyi and Imre Thokoly took place in the “Palanok”

On Saturday, August 22, from 14:00 to 21:00, a historical festival – reenactment of the wedding of Ilona Zrinyi and Imre Thokoly will be held in the Palanok Castle. Every year the cultural and tourist attraction brings together hundreds of visitors to the Palanok fortress.
This year, due to quarantine restrictions, the wedding will be reenacted online. 
Everyone will be able to join the online broadcast of this unforgettable event.
The program includes medieval battles, archery and cannon firing, medieval dances, fire shows, quests, master classes from artisans and, of course, the wedding of the castle owner Ilona Zrinyi and Imre Thokoly. 
Reenactment of the historical event will take place within the project "Handicraft Manufactory "Palanok", which is being implemented with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation. 
Program of celebration of the online festival: 
14:00 – the beginning of hourly gunfire in the middle yard of the Palanok Castle 
14:00 – master classes by artisans of the Castle Manufactory 
16:00 – solemn procession and wedding ceremony of Ilona Zrinyi and Imre Thokoly 
17:00 – demonstration fights, medieval dances 
18:00 – final quest-tour "Secrets of the castle workshop". Awarding of the winners of the children’s contest "Mukachevo – a city of bright emotions"
20:00 – music and dance performances. The yard of the middle castle. 
20:45 – fire show from Fire Life Theater – fire show, Uzhgorod.
