Searches in the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration

At the Department of Health of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, searches and investigative actions have been conducted since early morning in the criminal case on the purchase of low-quality protective suits and masks to fight coronavirus infection. 
According to the Pershij.com.ua, officers of the DSI (Department of Strategic Investigations), National Police investigators and officers of the Security Service of Ukraine are working at the scene. They are seizing documents and inspecting offices. It concerns embezzlement of 25 million hryvnias allocated from the COVID-19 fund. It is known that the purchased masks and suits are for construction works and are not intended for use in medicine. Details will be published later.
