COVID-19: the situation as of the morning of August 17 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

During the past day, August 16, 377 people sought emergency medical care, 33 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 20 were suspected of having COVID-19.

2729 patients have recovered.

106 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

83 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 4 are health care workers and 5 are children.

For the past 24hrs, 1 death among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 has reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 238 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died. 

Overall, as of 9:00 am on August 17, 2020, 6329 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 789 are health care workers and 351 are children.

Transcarpathian Regional Center of Public Health 

As of the morning of August 5, 1076 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

19 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

533 people have recovered  

16 persons have died.
  
43 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 484 are on outpatient treatment. 

255 Uzhgorod residents are on self–isolation

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have collected 100 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction test.

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on August 17, there have been 92820 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 2089 were fatal, 48164 patients have recovered. During the day, 1464 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
