Due to fake tests for coronavirus, the EU sends Transcarpathians back home

Coronavirus disrupted the holiday plans of many Transcarpathians. And yet, a number of countries have opened their borders to tourists. However, with one condition – at the border you need to show a negative PCR test for coronavirus.
Of course, this does not stop our compatriots, and many Transcarpathians go to Croatia, which opened its borders to Ukrainian tourists who can present a negative PCR test. At least on the state border with Hungary there are now huge queues of cars.
And while Hungarian border guards only need to see a reservation in a Croatian hotel and they let cars pass without any problems, border guards on the border with Croatia are checking PCR tests. Sometimes quite superficially, and sometimes very thoroughly.
And as it became known, many Transcarpathians have already been sent back home from the Croatian border, because the tests turned out to be fake.
RIO journalists have reported about fake tests in Transcarpathia. Even on social networks you can find information that tests are sold for UAH 500. And many Transcarpathians buy them, because it is cheaper than in official laboratories.
