This is the project Nude by artist Vasylyna Buryanyk, which opened on July 10. The author made her first steps in art in Uzhgorod. She brought her vision of helplessness and vulnerability of the human body and nature to life using her favorite material – nylon, which she compares to leather. Using light, Vasylyna Buryanyk tries to make a planar image three-dimensional, creating multi-layered panels, which the viewer can see through, like stained glass.

Gallery director Tetyana Tumasyan notes that textiles is a unique and unusual technique for Kharkiv, where artists usually use photographs and graphic design. This is Vasylyna Buryanyk’s third project, which is being presented in Kharkiv. In 2017, her work "Plankton" participated in the curatorial project of Oles Tomakh "Aspiration" in the Municipal Gallery. And in 2019, she became a participant in the Second Biennale of Young Art.

The exhibition will run until July 29 at the Kharkiv Municipal Gallery (Chernyshevska st., 15) every day except Sunday from 11:00 to 19:00. Free entrance.
