One of heads of regional state administration was detained on a bribe (PHOTOS)

The officials were detained while receiving bribes in the amount of UAH 250 thousand  
June 25, 2020, detective of the NABU caught the head of one of the regional administrations and an official of the same RSA "red-handed" – the NABU informs on its page on the social network. 
As the investigation found out, the conspirators offered the head of the regional branch of one of the state authorities in the region to give them an illegal benefit in amount of UAH 1.8 million in exchange for not obstructing his activities. Under the terms of the "offer", the money was to be delivered in installments. 
The officials of the regional state administration received the first installment of UAH 100 thousand in June 2020, which is recorded in the materials of the investigation. During the delivery of the second installment – UAH 250 thousand – they were caught red-handed. 
The head of the regional state administration and his accomplice, an official of the same regional state administration, were detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Currently, law enforcement officers are conducting urgent investigative activities aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime.
