COVID-19 in Transcarpathia, Uzhgorod, Ukraine as of June 17

"During the past day, June 16, 380 people sought emergency medical care, 28 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 28 were suspected of having COVID-19" – the director of the Health Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Yelizaveta Birov said.

503 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

82 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 5 of them are medical workers.

5 persons with the confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 died.

Overall, as of 9:00 am on June 17, 2020, 1808 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 342 are health care workers and 112 are children. 18339 polymerase chain reaction tests have been carried out. 745 patients have recovered.  

Transcarpathian Regional Center of Public Health

As of the morning of June 17, 468 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

10 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

283 people have recovered  

7 persons have died.
  
5 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 174 are on outpatient treatment.

92 Uzhgorod citizens are in self-isolation 

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have made 17 visits, 89 samples of biological materials have been collected for polymerase chain reaction test.

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on June 17, there have been 33234 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 943 were fatal, 14943 patients have recovered. During the day, 758 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

The tests were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of June 17, 2020, the Center has received 1136 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases. Since the beginning of 2020, a total of 74653 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases has been received.
