“A foreigner is not a slave”: a Transcarpathian went on a hunger strike in the Czech Republic

In the Czech city of Dobris, near the premises of the Bobcat plant, a Transcarpathian went on a hunger strike

Yaroslav Chepa went on hunger strike because of salary arrears which have already reached 200 thousand crowns.

According to Mr. Yaroslav, the hunger strike will continue until people receive their honestly earned money.

It is because of such cases that Yaroslav Chepa, a native of the Irshava district, established the public organization "cizinec neni dijete" – "a foreigner is not a slave".

The organization is trying to provide protection to all those who find themselves in difficult situation in another country, and it is not just legal aid.

Today is the third day that Mr. Yaroslav, despite the rain, has been protesting near the building of the enterprise.

As Yaroslav noted in a comment to the pershij.com.ua/, lawyers are working on this situation, so far there have been only promises and requests to end the action.

"Many Czechs support us. Cars stop and people ask what they can do to help. When people find out about the situation, they urge us not to stop,” – Mr. Yaroslav added.
