5.5 ppm in the blood: a drunken Transcarpathian without a driver’s license ran into a fence

A minor accident occurred at night in the village of Rokosovo in Khust district.
A VAZ-2103 car driven by a local resident drove into the fence of a private house.
Eyewitnesses reported the accident to the police. When officers of the Khust Patrol Police Response Team arrived at the scene, they found out that the perpetrator of the accident was in a state of intoxication. During a medical examination at the hospital, as much as 5.5 ppm of alcohol was found in his blood. Reports of administrative offenses were drawn up against the offender for committing an accident, for driving under the influence of alcohol and without a driver’s license, the Communications Department of the Transcarpathian Police reported.
