As of May 8, 23 positive PCR tests have been recorded as a result of testing of servicemen and employees of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine for COVID-19, of which three new cases have been detected in Transcarpathia, Zhytomyr and Odesa regions.
About 200 border guards, who have come into contact with the patients, are under medical supervision. The vast majority of contact persons are self-isolated, the rest are isolated in units or observatories.
Out of the total number of servicemen and employees of the State Border Guard Service, who have been confirmed to have coronavirus, 4 servicemen have recovered, 19 persons are still being treated.
